This year, Hidora is once again proud to be among the sponsors of DevOpsDays Geneva. This isn't another press release in a season full of conferences: it's a commitment we renew with the same conviction we had at the very first edition. The reason is simple and almost self-evident once you know the story. DevOpsDays Geneva has been part of Hidora's rituals from the very beginning.
A founding story
Our CEO, Matthieu Robin, is a co-founder of DevOpsDays Geneva alongside Matteo Mazzeri. The idea, back then, was simple: create in French-speaking Switzerland an event that lived up to the DevOps movement taking shape internationally, without reducing it to a commercial format. A place where practitioners come to share honest field stories, with no marketing filter, on what actually works and what actually breaks in production.
That history is why our support for the event has never been a mere visibility play. When you have co-founded a thing, you keep believing in it, and above all you keep contributing to it. Year after year.
Hikube on stage
This 2026 edition is also our chance to introduce Hikube, our Swiss sovereign cloud, to the regional DevOps community. Hikube is three Swiss datacenters, managed Kubernetes, GPU as a Service, S3 storage and managed databases. All of it operated by a Swiss legal entity, with engineers based in Switzerland, on a 100% open-source stack.
Presenting Hikube at DevOpsDays carries a particular weight. This is exactly the audience the platform was built for: CTOs, SREs, cloud architects, platform engineers who build and operate production workloads in Switzerland. These conversations have a different texture from those at a generalist trade show. People here talk about SLOs, about data sovereignty under FADP and GDPR, about the very real constraints of hosting workloads subject to FINMA or to public-sector clients.
Why this event matters to us
DevOpsDays Geneva brings together hundreds of attendees every year, from across French-speaking Switzerland and beyond. The format is unusual: talks in the morning, open spaces in the afternoon where topics emerge from the audience itself. That format is what makes the event valuable. What you hear there isn't dictated by a rigid program committee; it's whatever the engineering teams in the room actually care about that day.
That's exactly what we look for when we talk to our clients. Not the headlines from the trade press, but the real pain points: cloud cost drift, Kubernetes migrations that get stuck, CI/CD pipelines that become unmanageable, sovereignty questions that climb up to the board because an audit raised a red flag.
Come say hi
If you're registered for DevOpsDays Geneva 2026, drop by. We'll be delighted to hear what you're working on, answer your questions about Hikube, or simply discuss the Swiss DevOps ecosystem over coffee. It's for those conversations too that we keep coming back every year.
To learn more about what we offer: our managed services, our DevOps consulting, or the Hikube platform directly.
